Nice to know:

This adorable little creature is endemic to the Philippines. I’m using the word “endemic” because I want to sound smart. It means that all its friends and immediate relatives are found only in the Philippines.

Its disproportionately large eyes make sense because it is a nocturnal animal. So taking photos with him and his pals during daytime is a form of abuse. But they’re probably used to the showbiz part of their existence, posing for the fans and all.

Where can you find one?

Tarsiers are only “available” in Bohol.

Why it’s in the list:

Tarsiers are so adorable, you can’t resist taking photos of and with them.
