“Bahay” = “house” and “kubo” = “hut”. So a bahay kubo is called a “nipa hut”. Huh?! Basta!

It’s well-ventilated and looks so laid back. I had a chance to hang out inside a genuine, functional bahay kubo and it was indeed relaxing.
